About me

My volunteer account is User:KCVelaga. I had spent most of my initial years on English Wikipedia and a bit of Wikidata. I organized several outreach activities in India, and currently spend majority of my volunteer time with Wiki Loves Monuments, Indic MediaWiki Developers User Group and contributing to Wikimedia Commons.

My work

As of March 2022, I am working with the Global Data and Insights Team as Analyst. My work mostly includes analysing community data (through surveys, grant metrics, affiliates data etc.), in combination with product data, to better understand the movement. Before my current role, I was a Fellow on GDI for about six months, and prior to that, I was with the Movement Strategy and Governance team focusing on community facilitation in the South Asian region.
